French vs American Skincare: What's the Difference?
French skincare often brings to mind a pharmacy shelf: a cleanser, a targeted treatment and a moisturizer you actually use. American skincare offers an equally broad range of approaches, from minimalist routines to extensive ingredient-led collections. Neither nationality guarantees that a formula will suit your skin.
Different systems, shared responsibilities
Cosmetics sold in the EU must meet its cosmetics rules, including safety assessment and a responsible person. The US also regulates cosmetics, and MoCRA expanded FDA authority. “Not pre-approved” does not mean “unregulated.” Rules alone are not a reason to assume every European product is better than every American one.
Borrow the useful habits
Choose products for your skin's needs, read the directions and introduce one new formula at a time. A routine you can repeat is more useful than a shelf full of products you never finish.
The Noove approach
We are a French skincare brand focused on clear routines and honest prices. Start with a cleanser and choose a serum for the concern you want to address. Follow with moisturizer and daytime sun protection. Manufacturing origin and certification belong to the individual formula, not to a brand's nationality.
